BUCKLER -- CHRISTINE C. Age 57, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Tim Buckler; her mom, Dorothy Gutierrez; brother, John Gutierrez and his wife Liz; sisters, Gerri Campbell and her husband Christopher, Evelyn DeCosta and her husband Dwayne, and her cousin like a sis, Becky Flores; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Robert Buckler and his wife Debbie, Carol Tirrell and her husband Al, Richard Buckler and his wife Mary Hope, John Buckler and his wife Lynn, and Steve Buckler; nieces and nephews, Danny, April, Michelle, Gabriel, Danessa, Daniel, Danae, Carlos, Tomas, Natalie, Christopher, Julio, Kim, David, Traci, Phillip, Sarah, Mary Rosa, and Carrie along with many aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Adrian and her brother, Danny Gutierrez. Though she never had any children of her own, she was a very beloved godmother and mother figure to many. Christine worked for 17 years as a Day Care Director. Her nieces, nephews, and the children she took care of affectionately called her Auntie Chocolate because she always had a piece of chocolate to share. She was a giver her entire life. She gave of her time, her love, and her guidance every day to everyone she met. Christine was proud to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Her faith allowed her to lead by example. Christine will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Christian Church, 4501 Montgomery Blvd. NE.
