TRAIN -- DAISY MAY Our loving mother and grandmother, Daisy May Train, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 after battling a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Walter; and daughter, Paula Cranmore. Daisy was born May 4, 1930 in Kent, England. She arrived in the United States in 1942 where she met her future husband, Walter Thomas Train, a United States Marine Corps Sgt. Major. She became a naturalized US citizen. Daisy loved being the wife of a Marine and all of the places that they were stationed, from Hawaii, New York, Tennessee, North Carolina and many other places until they were stationed in Albuquerque in 1964 and retired in 1971. Daisy was an avid shopper and loved working out in her yard. She is survived by daughter, Karen Train, her husband, Joseph Bernadini and their children, Alexander and Ashley; daughter, Sandra Train and her son, Kristopher Kemper; son, John Train, his wife, Angela and their children, Stephen, Angela and Mercedes; Paula's sons, John, Jeff and Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Angelic, Dominic, Alexis, Daisy and Kaleb. Services will be held Sunday, June 17, 2012, 5:00 p.m., at French - Lomas Chapel. Burial and Committal Services will be held Monday, June 18, 2012, 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French - Lomas Chapel on Sunday, June 17, 2012 starting at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers are: Sandra Train, John Train, John Cranmore, Stephen Train, Kristopher Kemper, Angela Train, Dominic Cranmore and Mercedes Train.
