STRECH -- ARTHUR DAN Father of Julie Strech, Danna Strech Manganaro and Doug Strech, was a master joker, a smart man, an avid reader, history buff, lover of the ocean, the California redwoods, any back country, the color orange, and his three kids. He possessed a clarity with which he helped us navigate our own lives. Born in Denver to Nadine and Clifford Strech, he graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque in 1960 and was married for 15 years to Connie Wagoner. Dan's life-long career was in real estate and he lived in California for the last 30 years. He was largely a solitary man. We'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us in coping with this loss. He was loved, is honored in death and survived by his three children; three grandchildren, Jens Strech, Jax Strech and Cooper Manganaro. He died on 19 May 2012.
