BENNER -- ALICE A. Age 73, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She is survived by two sons, Keith and Mark Benner of Albuquerque; one grandson, Cody Benner of Albuquerque; and two brothers, Richard (Erika) Ries of Virginia and Jim Ries of Florida. She was loved and will be greatly missed by partner and long time friend, Floyd Capps of Albuquerque, as well as by her many, many other friends. Alice was very active in the M&M Red Hat Group of Manzano Mesa Multi-generational Center, where she held the title of "Gracious Greeter". She belonged to and attended many sub-groups of the Red Hats. Until her illness, she was an avid exerciser, attending classes every day, as well as hiking and ballroom dancing. A viewing and gathering will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 pm at French-Lomas Chapel.
