LUERA -- BEATRICE (BEA) Age 59, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. She was born in Temple, TX on September 14, 1952. She was a 1971 graduate of Tulia High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Roberto Medina-Luera of Tulia. Bea is survived by her mother, Josefa Luera of Tulia, TX; sister, Margarita Luera of Rio Rancho, NM; brothers, Bill Luera of Austin, TX, Roy Luera of Tulia, TX, Vincent Luera of Amarillo, TX; nephew, Ryan Luera of Amarillo, TX; niece, Shina Luera of Tulia, TX; aunts and uncles, Manuel Luera, Guadalupe Luera, Molly Suiter, Micaela Ramirez, Ophelia Garcia, Pedro Luera, Benjamin Luera; numerous cousins. Her greatest love was her constant companion chihauhua, Estrellita (...Maria Teresa Castillo Luera). Bea was a medical Social Worker from 1986-2006 at Lovelace Medical Center. Bea donated her time and made donations to various causes. Bea enjoyed making flower arrangements for her loved ones, baking, music, roller coasters and the mountains. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
