CASTILLO -- JOSEPH (PHIL) age 67, passed away May 19, 2012, with his family at his side. Phil is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Anna Marie; sons, Lou Castillo, and John Castillo and wife, Sandy; sisters, Connie Lopez and husband, Julian, Lucille Aragon and husband, Fred, Faye Fowler; brothers, Teofilo Castillo, Eloy Castillo and wife, Patsy, and Louie Castillo and wife, Stella; grandchildren, Henry, Jorge, and Damon Castillo. Phil was a member of the Catholic Church, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam Era. Phil spent nearly thirty years in the Banking business in New Mexico, and served as the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board, and the as Chief Operations Officer. Visitation will be from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Peralta, NM with a Rosary to follow at 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Donatus Onyeke, presider. A Committal Service is scheduled at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Lucero, Paul Castillo, Carlos Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Francisco Lopez, and Fernando Lopez. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to U.N.M.
