HUDSON -- INEZ G. DAVIDSON Passed away peacefully on May 2, 2012 in Peoria, AZ, after a lengthy illness. Inez was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. She lived most of her life in Albuquerque. After her husband Paul Davidson died in 1972, she married George M. Hudson in 1975, who preceded her in death in 2005. Inez's career included Voter Registration Clerk and Deputy County Clerk for Bernalillo County. She was a constituent liaison officer for U.S. Senator Harrison Schmitt and an investigative officer for the Albuquerque Human Rights Office. After retiring, she volunteered for the American Lung Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, Feliz and Bernardino Garcia; her sister, Lena Gonzales; and her brothers, Conrado, Paul, Alfredo, Willie, and Margarito Garcia. She is survived by two sisters, Connie Ortiz and Susie Roybal, of Santa Fe; by her five children and their spouses, Margaret Davidson (James Barbour), Connie Martinez (Joseph), Dorothy Nesbit (Phillip), Lisa Freany (Tom), and Paul Davidson. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Megan Oliver, Travis and Tawny Wilson, Leanne Davidson, Mark, Katherine, and Veronica Nesbit; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved as if they were her own children. Services for Inez will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Albuquerque, beginning with a Rosary at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11th, immediately followed by Mass. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Brothers of the Good Shepherd (P.O. Box 749, Albuquerque, NM 87103) or to the Alzheimer's Association.
