RANKIN -- TRUDI W. Age 91, of Albuquerque went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born January 22, 1921 in Watervliedt, New York. Her family moved to the Chicago area when she was five years old. She retired from Western Electric and soon thereafter moved to Albuquerque where she resided for over 23 years. She was a volunteer for the children's reading program and the Storehouse. She was active in Asbury Methodist Church and the Santa Fe Opera Guild. She is survived by her sister Barbara Pickel (Jim); two daughters, Sharon Fisher (Robert) of Albuquerque and Bobbe Kriz of Sacile, Italy; four grandchildren, Robert of Las Cruces, Richard of Albuquerque, Susan (Barry) of Corrales, Danielle of Washington, D.C.; her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Rose, Eric, Michael, Bailey, Steven, Joshua, Amanda; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Joseph and Paul; her sister Betty; niece Bambi Dykes (Ralph). A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Asbury Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Road NE. She was influential in many lives. She was many things to many people and will be missed by her family and friends. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
