GUTIERREZ -- RICHARD "RICO" Loving father, grandfather, brother and friend was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, April 2, 2012 at the age of 63. He was born in Albuquerque, NM to Ruben and Virginia Gutierrez. Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Gutierrez. Richard is survived by his daughters, Geraldine Sanchez and husband Eloy, Julie Gutierrez and husband Manuel; his son, Ricardo Gutierrez and wife Michelle; seven grandchildren; brothers, Leo and James Gutierrez and Alfred Gallegos; sisters, Loretta Gallegos, Norma Munguia and husband Alonzo, Saundra Chavez and husband Curtis, Karen Tapia; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 5:00 pm. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
