WOOD -- SAM MICHAEL Passed on March 24th at his home in Albuquerque, NM after cancer took him from us at the age of 44. Sam loved life and was a talented guitarist. He was deeply in love with his fiance Amber Hensley with whom he has a beautiful 16-month-old son, Franky Lee. He is also survived by his 18-year-old son, Sam Daniel Wood; his brother Lyle Wright; sister Danella Haney; and best friend, Rene Leninger. Sam still had a lot of living to do. His legacy lives on in his two sons Sam and Franky. He is with God now. The family wishes to thank Hospice Compassus for their kind care of Sam in his last days. Service will be held Thursday, March 29th at 10:00 am at Gate of Heaven cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, 87109, 505-821-0800.
