ROUDEBUSH -- MAUDE Age 95, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away, March 26, 2012. She was born in Berea, KY on March 17, 1917 to James and Dora Elizabeth Pruitt Payne. She is survived by her children, Nina Florine Laird of Los Alamos, Norma Clark and husband, Edward of Bernalillo, and Louise Flores of Eagar, AZ; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Maude was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Payne, Chester Payne, and Kenneth Payne. Before her retirement in 1983 Maude held many professional positions including home health care provider, nurse at Mesa Lutheran Hospital Mesa, AZ, and was employed by Sandia National Labs and ACF Industries. She was very active in her church and very much loved by her church family. Maude will be missed dearly by her children, grandchildren, friends, and extended family. Friends may visit at French ~ University chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in the Chester T. French Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107 with entombment to follow.
