ESPINOSA -- SHARON L. (OLSON) Passed away on Friday, the 24th day of February 2012, peacefully at her home alongside her loving family. Born on September 22, 1952 to Delfred and Doris Olson in Seattle, WA, the family quickly moved to Albuquerque. Sharon graduated from West Mesa High School in 1970 and continued on to get her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from New Mexico State University in 1974. She loved to teach and solve problems, which led to her getting her MBA from the University of Houston and becoming a systems analyst. She moved back to Albuquerque in 1998 and began traveling the states as a consultant. After consulting for about ten years, Sharon decided it was time to move back to Albuquerque permanently to be with her family. She ended her career working remotely from home as a systems analyst for IBM. Sharon loved counted cross stitch and making extravagant quilts for her friends and family. She loved to laugh and was an avid reader, especially on her kindle. Sharon was the most caring and generous person and would lend a hand to help whenever she could. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and spoiled them at every opportunity. Sharon always had a smile on her face and a contagious positive outlook on life. Sharon's spirit has left her body but she will always be with us and will never be forgotten. She is survived by her daughter Heather Garza and husband Mario; her two sons Javier and Jaime; four grandchildren Emilia, Devin, Aurora, and Nicolas; two sisters Gwen Pullen and Gail Drane; and one sister-in-law Cindy Olson. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
