RANKIN -- MARY Our dearly beloved Mary, wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, was suddenly taken away from us on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Mary was born in Albuquerque and was a life long resident. She was a graduate of Rio Grande High School, where she met her husband, Dale. Mary and Dale were married for 38 wonderful years. She is also survived by her daughters, Tamara Rankin and her boyfriend Vincent Torres and Heather Garcia and her husband Joseph Garcia. She also leaves behind her mother, Dorothy Henderson, her siblings, Samuel Henderson and wife Terrie, Daniel Henderson and wife Mary, Judy Mangione and husband Larry, Priscilla Fiddler and husband Jim. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Henderson. Mary touched so many people during her life, and was loved by everybody that knew her. Most of all, she loved her family. Her first and only grandchild, Harper Gertrude Torres, was the light of her life. She truly loved being with friends and family; playing poker, horseshoes, cooking and the San Francisco 49ers. A memorial service will be held for Mary on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at French - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
