BRISCOE -- FAYE 11/28/1919 - 02/09/2012 Age 92, Faye passed away peacefully at Kaseman Hospice following a recent fall. She was born in Lorena, TX to Mary and Edgar McIlhaney and lived on farms near Hagerman and Artesia as a child. Faye was preceded in death by husband Orlando, and her former daughter-in-law, Joyce Briscoe. Survivors include her son John, and daughter-in-law, Anita Briscoe. Faye, a housewife and a "Rosie The Riveter" from WWII, lived in the Artesia and Loco Hills, NM area all her life until she moved to Albuquerque following her husband's death 10 years ago. Per Faye's request, memorial contributions may be made to The Assurance Home for Abused Children, 1000 E. 18th, Roswell, NM 88201. A memorial will be held at a later date.
