LANGENWALTER -- DANIEL ALLAN (DAN) Passed away on February 18, 2012. Born September 10, 1946, in Schenectady, NY, he was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, with ties to La Luz, NM. He also enjoyed the years he lived in Evergreen, CO and Tehran, Iran and the friends he made there. Dan was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy and married the love of his life Peggy McClarin in 1970. Friends and family will miss his steady wisdom and generous spirit. Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Peggy; son Kyle, his wife Erin, and their two children Kiera and Rhys, of Albuquerque, sons Noah Langenwalter, of Albuquerque, and Birk Langenwalter, a petty officer in the U.S. Navy stationed in Bremerton, WA; sisters Pegi Vandewater, of Austin, TX, Suzanne Langenwalter, of NYC, and Janice (Jaye) Ventresca, of Pennsylvania; in-laws Dan and Jennifer McClarin, Roberta and Fred Livingston, Rita and Paul Baltensperger, Michael and Judy McClarin, and Patti McClarin; plus numerous nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues from Gallup and elsewhere who meant so much to him. As an organ donor, Dan's generous spirit will live on in others.
