BOUCHER -- JANICE JOAN "HONEY" WELHOUSE Was born 9-17-36 in Appleton, WI to the late Joseph and Clasina Welhouse of Seymour, WI. She had about 11 brothers and sisters which include survivors, Tom and his wife Carol Welhouse, Don and Mimi Welhouse, sisters, Verona Berg and Lucy Iles. Jan graduated high school in 1954, she worked as a secretary for one year and then with $97 in her purse, drove to California to, on good report, meet actor John Derek. Instead she met Joe Boucher and in 1956 married him. They had three children, Brett, Robin (wife Marianna) and Breana (David Dalrymple) and raised them in Arizona and New Mexico, primarily in Nogales and Albuquerque. Joe and Jan have two grandchildren, Caysee (husband Clint Werthmann) and Ryan Dalrymple, and one great-grandchild, Drake Werthman. Joe and Jan also have a nephew Robert Jean Boucher and his three children Aaron, Natalie and Daniel. Jan worked for many years with the University of New Mexico as Assistant to the Dean of the Medical School. For the past four years Jan had been living with daughter Breana and her husband David in Truth or Consequences, NM as a result of her husband Joe's death and her own failing health. Jan died on Valentine's Day, 2012 to see Joe again for the occasion and his first response was likely "Well? What took you so %*&^#*@ long?!"
