LOPEZ -- LOUIE S. Age 67, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to his heavenly home on Monday, February 6, 2012. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Antonio Pedro Lopez and Vicentita (Bessie) Montano on April 18, 1944. He was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico and made his way to Round Rock, Texas through his wife's work where he passed away. He and Carmen were married in 1989. Louie was preceded in death by both his parents. Louie is survived by his wife Carmen Lopez; daughter Karen Juarez and husband Mark and their son Miguel and daughter Maya; son Chris; daughter Amalia Lopez and her children, son Glen, daughter Lydia, son Dominic; sister Marcella Rodriguez and husband Pete; brother Armando Lopez and wife Jennie; sister Carmen Martinez and husband Joe; brother Umberto Lopez and wife Barbara; brother Ralph Lopez and Margie Duran; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Louie passionately enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family. Louie will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 8:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, followed by a reception at the parish hall. We would like to thank all his friends and family members who surrounded him with love, care and prayers.
