MONTOYA -- LARRY J. Age 55, beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to his heavenly home, Friday, December 30, 2011. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Annie Marquez. Larry is survived by his children, Desiree Montoya, Dana Resendiz and husband John, Richard Marquez and wife Vanessa; six precious grandchildren; his loving parents, Amadeo and Laura Montoya; his sisters, Sylvia Montoya, Teresa Byrd and husband Jim; and other numerous relatives and friends. Larry will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 6, 2012 at 12:30 pm at San Jose de Los Duranes Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd NW. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Daniel Valles, Matthew Gallegos, Richard Harding, Jr., Orlando Montoya, Richard Marquez and Ronnie Montoya.
