GONZALES -- JOSE O. Age 81, of Ojo Caliente and Albuquerque, died December 3, 2011 after a long illness. He is survived by his son, Phillip; daughter, Vicki, her husband John Romero; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Selina Gonzales, Tilia Robertson, Logarda Valdez; ten nieces and 11 nephews. He is also survived by his wife Margaret; stepchildren, Ireyne, Theo, and partner Joseph, Walter Barela, and wife Karen; and four grandchildren. Jose was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Bersade; his first wife, Pearl; youngest daughter Donna; three sisters, Noberta, Lesita, and Mela; step-grandson, Skyler Barela. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, 10:00 am at Riverside Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
