RAWLINS -- FRANCES MARIE Passed away peacefully at home November 24, 2011. Born in Paia, Maui, she moved to Albuquerque with her beloved husband, Daniel in the 1980's. She was preceded in death by husband, Daniel; parents, Han Choon Kang and Prudence Choi Kim; and son, David. She is survived by brothers, Abraham Kang and wife, Yaeko, Samuel Kim and wife, Liz; her children, Ann Marie Ide and husband, Thomas, Danny Rawlins and wife, Darrylyn, Claire Yoshida and husband, Elden, Francie Monteith and husband, David, Michele Portillo and husband, Robert, and Michael Rawlins and wife, Merly; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Frances taught catechism at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, and was active with Legion of Mary, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Marian Movement of Priests. She traveled the world and studied many cultures through her treasured library, and volunteered with the Albuquerque Office of Senior Affairs - Adult Shared Housing. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Tuesday, December 6, 2011,7:00 pm at French - Westside Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 7, 2011,10:30 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, in Rio Rancho.
