MARCHESE -- DIEGO Age 83, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Giovanna and son-in-law Dr. George Eisberg; son, Michael Marchese; of Arizona, and grandchildren, Stefani Marchese, "beautiful baby" Alexandria "Alex" Claycomb, Marco Marchese, and Maya Marchese; brothers , Joe and Charles Marchese; sister, Rosa Coraci; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Diego was preceded in death by his father, Luciano Marchese, mother, Giovanna Marchese, son Luciano Marchese, brother, Pat Marchese, sister, Vincenza Santangelo, and sister, Maria Santangelo. He was born in Sicily, Italy and came to the US at the age of 20. Diego purchased his own taxicab and worked in New York City for eight years before coming to New Mexico. He was also a very successful insurance agent with New York Life for 35 years and virtually every year made the Million Dollar Round Table. He was the best father and grandfather that anyone could ask for and he devoted his life to his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Friends may visit Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, Sunday December 4, 2011 from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m., Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 5, 2011 at John 23rd Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE. at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
