MAROSI -- ANNA Passed away peacefully on October 28, 2011 at the age of 100. She was born in West Virginia to immigrant parents. Her family returned with her to Slovakia in 1914. She became a school teacher, but her career was cut short by her battle with tuberculosis. She married Julius Marosi in 1935 and was widowed in 1966. Anna returned to United States in 1969, to join her daughter. Anna was an avid gardener and walked daily into her early nineties. She diligently studied and mastered the English language and helped to raise her two granddaughters. She was also a breast cancer survivor. Anna is survived by her daughter, Dr. Alice Marosi-Csepregi; granddaughters, Nicole Adams and husband Jerry Adams, Cathy Cavanaugh and husband Dr. Brendan Cavanaugh; four great-grandchildren. She was one of six children and is preceded in death by her siblings. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on November 12, at 2:00 p.m. at the Aquinas Newman Center in the Dominican Chapel, 1815 Las Lomas Road NE. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
