HILL -- GARY L. Age 62, died suddenly and peacefully on October 19, 2011. With him at his passing were his wife, Jo Ann; son, Travis; brother, Bob Hill; sisters, Donna Sievert and Liz Hill; and brother, Don Hill and his family; Gary is also survived by step-children, Rhonda, Jeff and Rod of California and their families. A career railroader, Gary worked as a Track Supervisor on the Santa Fe and BN/SF RRs until 2009. His retirement was brief but jam-packed with all the things Gary loved: traveling with his wife, camping and fishing with his family and doing whatever he could to make everyone else's life a little easier. Touching so many lives with his kindness, love and generosity, Gary's only enemies were those "damn gophers" who plagued his meticulous landscaping. We love you, Gary. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
