LENBERG -- HAZEL ERUM Age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2011, with family members by her side. Hazel was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had resided in Albuquerque since 1969. She was a very gentle, caring person who loved her family dearly and had a great appreciation for animals. Hazel enjoyed making porcelain dolls, flower arrangements and collecting antiques. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and, at the age of 22, served for two years as a church missionary in northern Mexico. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Ivy Erum, and her brother, Russell Erum, who was missing in action during World War II. Hazel is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Albin Lenberg; daughters, Angela R. Gamiz and Cecilia A. Colombel; sons, Robert A. Lenberg, II, Garth M. Lenberg, Scott E. Lenberg, and Edward P. Lenberg; their spouses and a posterity of twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held at 1:00 pm with Funeral Services following at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
