CRUZ -- JOHN JONATHAN Loving son, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 42, October 2, 2011. He was born on August 11, 1969 to Johnny and Lita Cruz, in Greeley, CO. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Cruz. John is survived by his loving mother, Lita Cruz and Rafael Gonzales; brother, David B. Cruz; sister, Angie Baca and husband Jim; one niece, Brianna Romero; nephews, Johnny Romero and wife Naomi, Isaac Baca, Ronnie Baca; one great-nephew and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. John loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. John was a huge Bronco fan and loved fishing. He had a big heart and was a very giving person. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Casket Bearers are Jim Baca, Rafael Gonzales, Johnny Romero, J.J. Cruz, Jesse Cruz, Art Varela, Brian Knudsen and Jared Cruz. Honorary Bearers are Isaac and Ronnie Baca.
