BARNES -- CAROL FAY Age 73, died October 3, 2011 in Rio Rancho. She is survived by her children, Shirley Nelson and husband Mark, Susan Zink, and Robert Barnes; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mariam Kuster; and many other family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Helen Fay. She was born in Florida, lived in Germany, South Carolina, and California before moving to New Mexico in 1968. Mrs. Barnes was a loving and caring mother who will be dearly missed. She enjoyed cross stitch and walking on the beach when possible. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011, 11:00 am, at French - Westside Chapel.
