BOYER -- ROBERT (BOB) E., SR. Age 73, a resident of Edgewood, NM, entered into the arms of his heavenly Father and Lord on September 18, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Audrey; daughters, Cheryl Lujan and husband, Terry and Sandra Boyer; daughter-in-law, Lisa King Boyer; grandchildren, Christy Boyer, T.J. Lujan, and Dusty Lujan; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Boyer; his brother, Johnny Boyer; and his son, Robert E. Boyer, Jr. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from June 1955 to November 1958. Bob retired from the Los Alamos National Labs in 1995 after 37 years of service. Following retirement, he enjoyed playing his guitar and ran a small machine shop out of his garage. Bob was referred to as the community handy man because of his generosity, extensive knowledge, and ability to fix just about anything that came his way. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Valley View Christian Church, 170 State Route 344, Edgewood, NM 87015 (505) 281-8373.
