ZAGAR -- ANNA MARY "ANN" Passed away peacefully on Monday August 29, 2011. Even a difficult childhood could not diminish the 95 wonderful years of Ann's life. For over 67 of those years she was married to her devoted and loving husband, Al. After his death in 2005 she picked up the slack and, with the support of family and friends managed her life on her own. Even at 95 Ann took pride in and maintained her lovely home and flower gardens. Born in Kansas City, Kansas on June 16,, 1916 she lived there until 1985 when she and Al moved to be close to their family in Albuquerque, NM. Leaving friends and siblings behind was hard, but making new friends was easy for Ann. She had many who loved her dearly and will greatly miss her. Son David M. Zagar and wife Peggy of Sandia Park, NM; three grandsons and their mother, David A. and wife Nancy, Tim, and Mary Ann of Rio Rancho, NM; and Chris and wife Kathy of Concord, NC; as well as six great-grandchildren, David Jr., Michael, Angelina, and Victor of Rio Rancho and Matthew and Abby of Concord have all been touched deeply by Ann's love and will miss her presence in their lives.
