LOPEZ -- EUMELIA Our beloved sister, mother and friend, was born June 29, 1926 in Escobosa, New Mexico to Beneranda Trujillo Lopez and Jose B. Lopez. She passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Albuquerque at the age of 85. Eumelia is survived by her nine children, Sophie Garcia, Mary Puentes and Joe, Phillip Garcia and Gloria, Sylvia Barbosa and Patty, Maria Jo Drury and Robert, Faye Anzures, Jeannette Sanchez, Bernie Abeyta, George Sandoval and Lynn; stepson, Freddy Lucero and Clara; brother-in-law, Solomon Romero; two brothers, Orlando and Julian Lopez; two sisters, Carmen Maria del Carmen Lopez Martin and Jolie Lopez; thirteen grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends. Eumelia will be greatly missed by all who loved and cherished her. A Mass will be celebrated at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 5:00 pm. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 9:00 am. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice, The American Cancer Society, or The Red Cross Blood Centers. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
