TAFOYA -- TOMMY In Memory of Tommy Tafoya July 22, 1940 - September 11, 1992 We can't believe you've been gone 19 years. Sorry you weren't around to enjoy your grandkids. Mary Trinnie and Gerald will be married 15 years Sept. 28 and they just bought a bigger new house on the west side. Mary Trinnie was painting and shattered her heel falling off the ladder in July. She had surgery. Hopefully she'll out of her cast soon. They just got back from Florida where Gerald competed in the National Truck Driving Rodeo. We met some of your fellow ABF drivers at the local competition. They remembered you fondly and the kids enjoyed hearing stories about you. Gerald Paul is in seventh grade and going to public school for the first time. He seems to really enjoy it. He's also still playing basketball and football. The football team is undefeated so far again. Tommy Andres just started kindergarten and seems to really enjoy going to school all day. He's also playing soccer. The teacher tells him he's so smart, and he says it's because he eats Smarties at his Honey's house. Nep and Bianca are doing well. Nep is driving for FedEx and seems to enjoy it. Evangelee is now in sixth grade at Assumption and is playing 3 different sports. She likes them all. Samantha is in second grade at Assumption and is our tom-boy, except on Sunday when she and I have to wear a dress to church. Fred is almost four now and still loves to play outside every chance he gets. He plays very well with Tommy Andres, and they had their first sleep over a few weeks ago. Lucretia is working at Presbyterian now. She and her family of dogs are still adjusting to Albuquerque living. She's helping Tommy Andres' soccer team as the team referee. She's also going to take income tax classes so she can do taxes like your brother Marty. Tom and Charlotte just celebrated their eighteenth anniversary. Tom's still at Schott Solar and Charlotte works at the dance studio where the kids perform. The dance team continues to compete Nationally and places in the top three. Both kids are now at St. Pius High School. Tomas is a junior. He's now driving (Lord help us) and is very active with the church youth group. He went to Denver with them last weekend. Tatiana is a freshman and still loves her dancing. She will be confirmed in May and her Auntie Trinnie is the godmother. She loves being at a new school and is quite the social butterfly. I've done a little traveling this year. I went to Jamaica with Carol for Kevin's wedding last October. I also went to Vegas, Denver for my brother David's wedding and Walsenburg for a family reunion and California to move Carol temporarily. My mom, Great Daisy, did start exercising this year and is doing good. The kids are so proud of her. We love you and miss you each and every day. Your wife Vivian; Mary Trinnie and Gerald, Gerald Paul and Tommy Andres; Nep and Bianca, Evangelee, Samantha, and Fred; Lucretia; Tom and Charlotte, Tomas and Tatiana.
