MULLER -- REGINA GRACE "GENIE" Age 78, died peacefully at home on September 7, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann Dickie of Rockville, Maryland; son, Michael Muller and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque; grandsons, Eric Kirmer and wife, Casie of Meraux, Louisiana, Bryan Kirmer, Jacob and Luke Muller, all of Albuquerque; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jessie Muller, Madonna Muller and Dolores Henry; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brother, Charles Wilkinson; sisters, Mary Creighton and Theresa Fiximer; brothers-in-law, Bill and Fred Muller and Kenneth Henry; sister-in-law, Arlene Wilkinson; son-in-law, Robert Dickie; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Kirmer-Bell. Regina was born to Irene and William Wilkinson on December 19, 1932 in Newton, Kansas. She worked for Albuquerque School Supplies in the late 1950's. Regina returned to work in 1978 as a department manager for Mervyn's Department Store where she will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, willingness to mentor others, and of course her pecan rolls. Regina retired in 1997. She enjoyed taking family vacations to Disneyland with her children and grandchildren, reading, word puzzles, baking her wonderful bread and treating her family to homemade donuts. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. She will join her husband, John at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Richard Guidice and Bryan Goss and the entire staff at New Mexico Cancer Center for their gentle care and respect, Presbyterian Hospice and especially her nurse, Liz Hayes, who gave such tender care to Regina and provided strength to the family.
