CORDOVA -- PETE R. 57, passed away on September 4, 2011. His loving wife, Consuelo Delgado-Cordova, his father, Pedro Cordova and his mother, Mary Cordova, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Lindquist and husband, Ryan; sister, Rosalie Savedra and husband, Joe; sister, Beverly Baca; brother, Mike Cordova; and sister, Rita Chavez and fiance, Steve Mendoza; nephews, Michael, Toby, Carlos, Vinnie, Raymond, Clovis; niece, Alicia; and great-nephews, Xavier, Kyle, and great-niece Breanna. Pete was an extraordinary man who lived his life with passion and tenacity. He was generous, kind and could always be counted on by his family and friends. He was a successful and hard-working business owner that ran his package delivery service for 30 years and just began a popular yard business. Pete's favorite time of year was football season, when he opened his beloved Dog Houze, which was 604 members strong. It was open to anyone who shared his passion for the sport. This is where he found his dearest friends and provided its members with lifetime camaraderie, fun and a little bit of mischief. All who had the pleasure of getting to know him will miss him tremendously. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW.
