GRIBBLE -- BILLIE PHILLIPS a resident of Rio Rancho, was born to Van and Maggie Phillips in Jayton, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clyde Gribble; son, Joe Gribble and wife Nedra of Dayton, OH; daughter, Jana and husband Philip Fachan of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters Dorothy Hughlett of Carlsbad, NM and Sue Smith of Coleman, TX. Billie is also survived by three granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Charlie; sister, Dessie Strickland. Billie graduated from High School in Plainview, TX and then attended North Western University in Wichita Falls, TX. She spent the following years as a seamstress and housewife by her husband's side in the USAF while living all over the country. They retired in Brazoria, Texas and lived in the Albuquerque area since 2002. There will be a visitation Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m., at the Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road (inside Vista Verde Memorial Park) Rio Rancho.
