MONTANO -- FRANCISCO 1940-2011 On June 15, 2011, we lost our loving husband and father after a long battle with cancer. He will always be our hero. Francisco, "Frank" Montano, age 71, a resident of Veguita, NM, passed away on Wednesday. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church as well as the Knights of Columbus. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air force. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his friends and family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Bernardo and Sylvia Montano and siblings, Bruna Saiz and Bernardo Montano Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jeannie; daughters, Monica, Bernadette and Sarah and her husband Carlos; step-son, Antonio and his wife Debra; grandchildren, Paul, Gabriel, Carlos, Alexandria, Lily, Destiny, Michelle, Megan, John Anthony; sisters, Sylvia "Joella", Stella, Dorella and their husbands; mother-in-law, Audrey and numerous friends and loved ones. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a viewing on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 6:30 PM, followed by recitation of the Rosary lead by Deacon Felix Barela at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Father Bijoy Francis officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
