PINO -- Roberta Amanda Pino, 25, passed away peacefully on Holy Saturday, April 23, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Moises Estrada, Sr. and Prospero Pino, Sr. and maternal uncles, Robert Estrada, Dennis Estrada and Moises Estrada, Jr. She is survived by her parents, John Pino (Lourdes) and Bel Estrada Sandoval (Leonard) of Las Vegas, sisters Andrea Pino of Denver, CO and Tracy Alcaraz (Mario) of Santa Fe, NM, brother John Nathan Pino of Las Vegas. Grandmothers Bella Pino and Modesta Estrada of Las Vegas, paternal aunts: Mary Tenorio (Amadeo) and Geraldine Romero (Philip), paternal uncles: Lawrence Pino (Frances), Gilbert Pino (Marcie), Julian Pino (Margaret) and Donald Pino (Arlene). Maternal aunts: Rita Garcia (James), Kathy Estrada (Reyes), Lisa Griego (Floyd), and Denise Gibson; maternal uncles Eddie Estrada (Veronica) and Adam Estrada (Debbie). Nephews Marcus, Matthew and Christopher Alcaraz; stepsisters Noelle and Natasha Dominguez, and her special friend David Baird. Also surviving Roberta are her many loving cousins, extended family and friends. Roberta was a 2004 graduate of Robertson High School and was continuing her education at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Roberta was a kind and loving spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her devotion was utmost to her family and friends. She was passionate about her studies and always pursued her goal with a positive attitude and a beautiful smile on her face. Roberta enjoyed life to its fullest and experienced many things, such as learning to cook, learning to play cards, going to museums and art exhibits and being a caring person to family members and strangers who came across her path. She touched many during her life, and in her dying gave life to four strangers through organ donation. Roberta, a devout Catholic, was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Las Vegas. Rosary devotional services will be conducted on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Eulogy will be delivered by Lawrence Pino and Jennifer Pino-Serrato. Interment will follow at the St. Anthony's Cemetery, Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as pallbearers are: Marcus Alcaraz, Matthew Alcaraz, Alan Griego, Gerald Gibson, Bryan Pino, Darren Romero, Martin Dominguez, and Mark Pino.
