GALLEGOS -- Nellie Gallegos, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by her children, Steve Gallegos, Bruce Gallegos and wife Shannon, Debra Gallegos, and Jude Gallegos; sisters, Josephine Martinez, Virginia Lujan, Mary Lee Gutierrez and husband, Raymond, Cecilia McDaniel and husband, Nelson, Julia Folger and husband, Jim, Dora Sanchez, Anita League and husband, Dave, Mona Lisa Sanchez and Della Chavez and husband, Frankie; brothers, Raymond Sanchez and wife, Evelyn, Rick Sanchez and wife, Lynn, Val Sanchez, Fred Sanchez and wife, Lita, and Jess Sanchez, Jr.; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and adopted sons and daughters. Mrs. Gallegos was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gallegos and son, Rodney Gallegos. A Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd SW, by the Legion of Mary. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Church, with Communion Service to follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Antillon, Nicholas Antillon, Steven Gallegos, Carlos Gallegos, J.J. Gallegos, and Aaron Gonzales.
