MENDEZ -- Marlene Coca Mendez, 47, born January 20, 1964 in Albuquerque passed away March 7, 2011. Marlene was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Coca; father, Leo Coca; Tia Marty; cousin, Jackie; and friend, Bernadette Jaramillo. She is survived by her children, Joseph and girlfriend Tima and John Mendez; the children's father and friend, JayDee Mendez; her loving sister, Rosalie Coca Garcia; her caring and loving boyfriend, Anthony Sanchez; nephews, Dominic, Gabriel, Alex and Estevan; siblings, Lucilla, Priscilla, Nancy and Maxine, Tony, Paul and Floyd; special friend, Patricia Lucero. Services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, 412 Stover SW, ABQ, 9:00 a.m. Rosary will be recited by Juan Sandoval and Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. performed by Deacon Robert Vigil. Her beautiful sense of humor would make anyone laugh on a rainy day. Her battle is over and it gives us, her family, peace that she left us with a tear in her eye and a smile on her face! We will miss you, Marlene, but we know you're our guardian angel. We love you!
