SHEPARD -- E. Wayne Shepard (11-3-46 to 03-06-11) passed away Sunday in Palm Harbor, Florida. Wayne is survived by his mother Elizabeth of Palm Harbor Fl.; his wife of 16 years, Peg Hurley of Albuqueque; and the entire Hurley family of Albuquerque who affectionately referred to him as "Uncle Wayne." Wayne retired from the City of Albuquerque transit department in 2007. He was a well known, prominent Judge for the United States Equestrian Federation, having Adjudicated from Maine to California in excess of 30 years as a Licensed Senior Judge. Wayne was a special man with a heart of gold. Uncle Wayne will truly be missed. A service will take place later in the week in Palm Harbor, Florida.
