PANNELL -- Guy Newton Pannell, 81, longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26th. Guy was born in Dallas, TX and married Marceline Danley in 1953. Guy proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 27 years and was stationed in Maine, Korea, England and New Mexico over his career. He greatly enjoyed fishing and his dog, Irish. Guy is preceded in death by his wife, Marcy. He is survived daughter, Pam Lester; son, Douglas Pannell and wife, Kathy; granddaughters: Ashley Wickwire and husband, Eric; and Erin McCarrell; and great-grandaughter, Rylan Wickwire. A private ceremony will be held in Santa Fe at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
