FOSTER -- Edward Franklin Foster, Jr., age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Edward Sr. and Lily Foster in Mecklenburg, NC. Edward owned and operated Foster's Upholstery for over 30 years in Albuquerque, NM. He has been a longtime member of Los Altos Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. Edward would always sponsor high school sports and little league teams. He served his country proudly for the United States Army during WWII. Edward is survived by his children, Patricia Brennan and husband, Lee of Mathews, NC; Diane Foster of Monroe, NC, Wendy Wiseley of Albuquerque, NM and Robert Foster and wife, Karen of Albuquerque; step-son, Joe Newberry; nine grandchildren, Michelle, Becky, Patty, Steven, Kyle, Keith , Lane, Adam and Amanda; and nine great-grandchildren. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one grandson, Roger. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at French ~ Wyoming Chapel with Pastor James Lynch officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
