HOBBS -- Donna E. Hobbs, 93, loving mother, grandmother, friend and long time Albuquerque resident, born February 10, 1918 in Kansas City, KS passed away on February 16, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, D'Alene Seymour; grandchildren, Shawn Seymour and his partner Erica Myers and Stephanie Cameron and husband, Walt; six great-grandchildren, Julia, Ashley, Shawn, Kelli, Shane, and Kenzie; and many extended family members and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; and her parents, William and Marjorie Gladys Bernethy. Donna was a Harvey Girl in 1936 in Ashfork, AZ. She has been a member of the Women's Club of Albuquerque since 1944. Donna had many hobbies including cooking, quilting, playing bridge, oil painting and most recently scrapbooking. Most of all she will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Donna will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., at the Church of the Good Shepherd 7834 Tennyson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
