WRIGHT -- Cynthia Josephine Wright, Born in Chicago Illinois on May 5, 1959, to her father, the late James T Cox and mother, Mary Mildred Wallace Cox, passed away, after a courageous fight with cancer, at the family home in Las Cruces New Mexico, on January 31, 2011. Cindy graduated High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, living with her sister Maryanne Erschen (husband, Matt); and her brother James Cox (wife Anne). After High School she moved to Albuquerque New Mexico, with her parents and attended the University of New Mexico where she obtained her Bachelor. While in Albuquerque she worked with her father at Deluxe check printers as a proof reader. She also worked at Sandia Crest in the restaurant, riding the tram to the top .On Valentine's Day, 1982. She was married to John Patrick Wright of Albuquerque New Mexico, and began working in the family business, Argyle Welding Supply. In 1984, Cindy and John moved to Las Cruces New Mexico in order to open another store. In time they built a building on a dirt road with no other neighbors at what is now Telshor Blvd. In 1985 their first daughter Morgen Wright-Pfeifer (husband Jeff) was born, in 1987 a daughter, Erin Wright arrived. In 1990, a third daughter Kelsey J. Wright was born. Cindy cherished the role of mother, wife and homemaker. She was always involved in her children's lives and school activities. From volunteering in kindergarten classes and field trips to selling pizzas, she could not spend enough time with her girls. For six years she drove her girls to Albuquerque every weekend in order to play soccer. She never missed a rehearsal, practice, game or performance. Cindy loved to read. She loved the days over 100 degrees when she could lay in the pool, listen to music and read her novels. She loved walking the beaches picking up shells to add to her collection. Mama Wright opened her home and heart to all the girls' friends. Most of all she loved her family. A viewing will be held La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 5, 2011 at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home located at 555 W Amador, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88005. Flowers are welcome and donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice. Services have been entrusted to the care of La Paz -Graham's Funeral Home 555 West Amador, Las Cruces New Mexico 88005
