BALLEJOS -- Leonardo Ballejos, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 8, 2011 at home with his loved ones at his side. Mr. Ballejos is survived by his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Maria; his children, Bibo Ballejos, Sonia Zamora and husband, John, Luciano Ballejos, and Richard Ballejos and wife Delilla; his sister, Mary Chavez; his brother, Ismael Ballejos and wife, Lillie; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members. Mr. Ballejos was preceded in death by his son, Leonardo Ballejos Jr.; and his grandson, Richard Ballejos Jr. Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW from 10:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 11:15 a.m., a Franciscan Friar, presider. Interment will follow Mass at Punta de Agua, NM. Pallbearers will be Cisco Zamora, Paul Chavez, Uvaldo Garcia, Abie Ballejos, John Moir, Percy Barela, and John Zamora.
