LOCKWOOD -- Bill J. Lockwood, age 93, passed away Monday morning, December 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sisters; and step-son. Pop, as he was known by his many friends and family, was an avid motorcross racing fan who for 15 years, traveled all over the United States to watch his three great-grandsons, Keith and Kevin Johnson, and Justin Buckelew race motorcross. Pop also made trips to Maryland to visit his son, Donald and wife, Carolyn Acree and grandchildren. He also kept in touch with niece, Lyn Finneran and nephew, Bo Dark. He will be missed his daughter, Shirley and husband, Bob Johnson; and his five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pops was a happy man, he thought he had a darn good life and he did. Friends may visit Tuesday, December 28, 2010, 5:00 -7:00 p.m., at French - University Location. Services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menual Blvd. NE, with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
