ESCUDERO -- Leonor Escudero, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1968 went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Mrs. Escudero was born on August 27, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valente Escudero; daughter, Socorro Carbajal; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Escudero is survived by her ten children, Yolanda Escudero, Val Escudero and wife, Lorraine, Jessie Escudero, Tillie Soto and fiance, Hal Tuttle, Candie Guerrero and husband, Ramon, Max Escudero and wife, Velma, Lisa Martinez and husband Valente, Ralph Escudero, Rose Escudero, and Eva Marie Escudero; brothers, Rafael and Manuel Dominguez, and sister-in-law, Salome Alvarez; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Leonor is blessed to have enjoyed four generations of her legacy. She has 34 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Our mother was a woman of prayer and lived for her family. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery, NE at Carlisle, with a Celebration Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE.
