GARCIA -- Bernardita "Bennie" Garcia, 83, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Juanito Garcia; children, Judy Gutierrez and husband, Eddie, Carmela Gabaldon and husband, Harold, Gilbert Garcia and Angela Vallez, Elmer Garcia and wife Angela, Felipe Garcia and wife Patsy, Debby Mora and husband, Ruben, Arleen Greifinger and husband, Guy; and her brother, Alfonso Garcia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and many other relatives and friends. Bennie was preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Pablita; son during the Vietnam War, Isidro Garcia; brother, Jimmy Garcia; sisters, Peggy Saiz, Lucinda Walyd and Beatrice Anaya. She was a Gold Star Mother, a life-time member of the Disabled American Veterans and a parishioner at Holy Child Parish and the Shrine of St Bernadette Catholic Community. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, November 16, 2010, 7:00 p.m., and Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd NE with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Garcia, Eddie Gutierrez Jr., Juan Gabaldon, Isaac Garcia, Ruben Mora Jr., and Gabriel Greifinger. Honorary pallbearers Isidro Garcia, Armando Garcia, Dominic Greifinger, Julian Gabaldon, Alex Garcia, and Ralph Anaya.
