LEACH -- Doyce Lee Leach passed away, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at home, surrounded by family and his beloved wife, Emilie. Doyce led an exemplary life of integrity and faith. Prior to his retirement in 1990, Doyce was involved with various civic volunteer activities, was a member of the Shriners, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Doyce retired as an Agency Manager for Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S. (now AXA Life) in Utah, Nebraska, and New Mexico. He was an active member of the Cathedral Church of St. John in Albuquerque, and he and his wife enjoyed membership in the Albuquerque Country Club. Doyce's interests included fishing, golfing, walking, traveling, watching all sporting events, and attending his grand children's soccer games. In recent years, Doyce was most passionate about traveling, laughing and being with his wife. He is survived by Emilie Beacham Leach; his children, Brian (Deborah), Shannon (JoAnn), Anne Kundtz (Paul), and Stewart (Lea); his brothers, Jack and Paul; and his brother-in-law, Byron McBride; Doyce's grandchildren include Tom and Andrew Leach, Matt and Molly Kundtz, and Christopher and Patrick Leach. Doyce was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn McBride Leach. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at The Cathedral Church of St. John.
