PENA -- Julia T. Pena, a long time Albuquerque resident passed away on October 13, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born on October 19, 1921 in Taos, NM to Ignacio and Minnie Trujillo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Johnnie L. Pena. She is survived by three daughters, Christina Courville, Veronica Haschke(Albert) and Anita Pena; as well as two grandsons, Michael Courville(Tammie) and Jason Haschke(Kristy); and three great-grandchildren; She is also survived by one sister, Josephine Liebert of Santa Fe; along with many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Valerie Lotz, her Presbyterian Home Helth Care team, Dr. Carol Merovka, Amanda Lowe, Victoria Cain and the wonderful people of Hospice of the Sandias for the compassionate care of their mother and all their support.
