LIES -- Sue H. Lies, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1943, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. She is survived by her son, Gene Lies and wife, Pam of Albuquerque; daughter, Artie Bedard and husband, Yvon of Lufkin, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Lies of Albuquerque, Rachel Lies-Campos and husband, Bill of Edgewood, NM, Rebecca Lies of Denver, CO, and Jamie Harvey and husband, John; and great-grandchildren, Brooks and Brock Harvey, all of Jonesboro, AR and Owen Campos of Edgewood, NM. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lies; daughter Cathy Lies; sisters, Madge Kraemer and Marg Hawkins; and brothers, Ralph Hawkins and Ray Hawkins. Mrs. Lies was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. After retiring from First National Bank, Sue remained active and volunteered at many different organizations. She was always busy sewing, painting or gardening and was too busy to watch TV. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Sue's life will take place at a later date.
