DOUGLAS-OVERTON -- JOSEPHINE DOUGLAS-OVERTON nurturing mother, loving wife, devoted friend, and altruistic nurse passed away on September 26, 2010 after a three-year battle with cancer. She is survived by mother Ruth Douglas; husband-George Overton; daughters, Yvonne and Adrienne (Khalid); sons, Evan and Justin; grandchildren, Dajia and Myon; brothers, Lawrence (Doris), Roger (Margaret), Henry (Debbie), Maurice and Sean (Peggy) Douglas; sisters, Sherri (Tom) Hudson, Roy Kathryn Watts and Lanita Douglas; and her beloved dogs, Chico and Sherlock. Now she rests in the arms of her heavenly parents, Lawrence and Lillian Maude Douglas. Born October 29, 1960, a memorial service celebrating Josephine's life will be held to honor her 50th birthday on October 30, 2010. Please contact the family for more information.
